Born on June 26, 1963, in El Paso, Texas, Vonda Brooks grew up in Lake Oswego, Oregon, as one of six siblings. After graduating from Lake Oswego High School in 1981, she embarked on a journey that would shape her remarkable career and personal life. A proud single mother of three children and now a grandmother of seven, Vonda moved to Arizona in 2021, continuing her legacy of resilience and dedication. Her entrepreneurial spirit was evident early on; in 1991, she founded Hands on Bindery from her garage, with her children in playpens nearby. This venture evolved into Hands on Services, where she has been instrumental in helping others establish and grow their own businesses. Vonda pursued her education at Portland Community College, graduating in 1992 with multiple degrees. She has been a HomeSmart Realtor since 2014 and has consistently been recognized with the prestigious Diamond Award each year. Her expertise in real estate is complemented by her role as a homeowner, investor, and an active leader in both her church and community.
In early 2024, Vonda founded Hands on Capital, where she quickly established herself as a leader renowned for strategic vision and operational excellence. Her approach to the company is centered on providing unparalleled funding solutions for non-owner-occupied residential investments.
